This specimen has football shaped obverse toning from extended storage in a Wayte Raymond board. The reverse, by contrast, is bright silver and untoned. The fields are fully mirrorlike and have lovely glassy surfaces. The central devices are fully frosty and the strike was sharp. Some hairlines are noted. Only 625 Proofs were struck this year.
