Frosty, cartwheel lustre enlivens this coin's straw gold surfaces, with richer copper toning at the peripheries of both sides. Well struck and very attractive. The Pointed Bust represents only about 1 in 20 1860's, making this hub type decidedly scarcer than the much more commonly encountered Rounded Bust. PCGS MS63.
