This was the finer of the two John W. Garrett once owned; it was also once W.W.C. Wilson's. No allowance at the top of the rim on either side for a mount attachment as seen on the silver originals. Possibly an early U.S. Mint strike after the dies were deposited there, circa 1790's-1810.
