A nicely toned Very Good specimen. The stars, rims, and legends are entirely complete, as is essentially all of the denticulation. Liberty is boldly outlined on the obverse, and is complemented by pleasant medium lavender-gray toning. Some of the obverse hair curls are evident behind Liberty's ear. Extremely Fine in terms of wear but the coin exhibits numerous tiny nicks that are hidden in the reverse denticles. The strike is wonderful and the color is a pale gray with some gold blended in. There are a pair of obverse adjustment marks on the bust and a few scattered marks but this coin has a respectable appearance and should be closely viewed by the Bust Half specialist. |
