THE DUNBAR NB OF NEW YORK. Ch.13237. $10.00. Fr.637. 1902 PB CH CU $1,900.00 Choice Crisp Uncirculated. A well centered top sheet margin example that has great color and strong stamped signatures. A wonderful note that has the added allure of having both Treasury and Bank serial number 6. Graded Choice Uncirculated-64 by RCGS. 503 NEW YORK. THE NB OF NORTH AMERICA IN NEW YORK. Ch.4581. $20.00. Fr.499 VG $525.00 1882 BB. Very Good. Very well centered with strong signatures. A few minor pinholes but overall this note is quite nice for the grade. A bank that issued only Brown Back notes in its seventeen year existence. 504 NEW YORK. THE GALLATIN NB OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK. Ch.1324. $10.00. Fr VG $550.00 482. 1882 BB. Very Good with excellent centering and strong signatures. There are a few minor pinholes but overall this note is quite nice for the grade. 505 NEW YORK. THE HANOVER NB OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK. Ch.1352. $20.00. Fr.496 VG $575.00 1882 BB. Very Good. The note is centered toward the bottom and touches at the center. The signatures are strong but the paper is a bit yellowed. There are some pinholes present. 506 NEW YORK. THE MERCANTILE NB OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK. Ch.1067. $20.00. Fr G $525.00 494. 1882 BB. Fine or so but with more soiling than normal for the grade, and a couple of very short edge splits. Good margins and nice bold signatures. 507 NEW YORK. THE SECOND NB OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK. Ch.62. $20.00. Fr.642 G $150.00 1902 DB. Good. The top center has a split that has been taped on the back and the top margin is quite rough. The stamped signatures are strong. A surprisingly scarce note with only 13 notes known on this bank, with this being new to the census. 508 OHIO. THE FNB OF ASHLAND. Ch.183. $50.00. Fr.1803-1. 1929 Type I. F $400.00 Fine. A well centered and attractive note that boasts no major detractions. A nice type note, as this denomination is scarce and desirable. 509 OHIO. THE SECOND NB OF BUCYRUS. Ch.3274. $5.00. Fr.467. 1882 BB CH CU $1,900.00 Choice Crisp Uncirculated. A wonderful note that has great color, strong penned signatures, decent margins and good crispness. A really nice type note that is sure to please. 510 OHIO. THE FNB AND TRUST COMPANY OF HAMILTON. Ch.56. $5.00. Fr.598 VG $150.00 1902 PB. Very Good. A left margin tear is this note's main detraction along with a couple of well hidden pinholes. Strong stamped signatures are still present. A wonderful specimen for ''first hundred'' charter collectors. 511 OHIO. THE FIRST MERCHANTS NB OF MIDDLETOWN. Ch.2025. $5.00. Fr.602 VG $200.00 1902 PB. Very Good. Trimmed slightly at the bottom. Well worn with a pinhole or two, but no serious problems. Only 21 large size notes listed in the census, including this example. 512 OHIO. THE CITY NB OF TIFFIN. Ch.5427. $10.00. Fr.1801-1. 1929 Type I. EF $200.00 Extremely Fine. Centered toward the bottom but still with ample margin. Good color and paper quality. A very nice note which has only fourteen small size examples reported. 513 OHIO. THE AUGLAIZE NB OF WAPAKONETA. Ch.9961. $10.00. Fr.627. 1902 PB. G $425.00 Fine with good margins but somewhat soiled on both sides. Strong pen signatures. One of only seven large size notes reported on this bank. 514 OKLAHOMA. THE FNB OF COMANCHE. Ch.6299. $10.00. Fr.1801-1. 1929 Type I. VG $2,200.00 Very Good. A well centered note that has no major problems. Very rare with only 5 small size notes known, this piece being new to the census. A well titled National Bank note. 515 PENNSYLVANIA. THE FNB OF DUSHORE. Ch.4505. $5.00. Fr.601. 1902 PB. VG $325.00 Very Good with some moderate soiling. The signatures are quite strong and there are no edge splits or pinholes present. Very rare in large size as there are only four listed in the census, this note not included. 516 PENNSYLVANIA. CORN EXCHANGE NB AND TRUST COMPANY OF PHILADELPHIA. Ch.542 G $100.00 $5.00. Fr.1800-1. 1929 Type I. Fine with the note centered right up to the top front margin. Good paper quality for the grade. Some mounting remnants on the back. 517 PENNSYLVANIA. THE BANK OF PITTSBURGH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION, PITTSBURGH. Ch G to VG $600.00 5225. $20.00. Fr.555. 1882 DB. Good to Very Good. The top border a bit rough. The signatures are strong and there are some internal splits and pinholes present. 518 PENNSYLVANIA. THE WARREN NATIONAL BANK. Ch.4879. $5.00. Fr.603. 1902 PB. VG to F $150.00 Very Good to Fine. Narrow but ample margins top to bottom, the side margins are nice and large. The paper has aged a bit but not excessively. Scarce Napier and Thompson signature combination. 519 RHODE ISLAND. THE NEWPORT NATIONAL BANK. Ch.1492. $1.00. Fr.384. 1875 CH EF $12,000.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Close but ample margins all around. The color is rich including the blue anti-counterfeiting stripe at the left. The paper quality is excellent for the grade, giving this note wonderful eye appeal. A few minor pinholes are present. Ch.1492. $2.00. Fr.391 EF $28,000.00 1875 Series. Extremely Fine. Rich color with decent margins for the issue. A few minor pinholes are seen but do not detract from the overall appeal of this note. Serial number 1, plate position A and cut from the same sheet as the previous note. There are no other serial number 1 deuces reported for this bank in the census, adding further to the desirability of this special note. Sure...  more 521 RHODE ISLAND. THE NATIONAL EXCHANGE BANK OF NEWPORT. Ch.1565. $5.00. Fr VF $300.00 599. 1902 PB. Very Fine or nearly so. Some light aging spots and the signatures have been washed away. Well centered. One of only 18 notes listed in the census with this piece not included. 522 TEXAS. THE CITIZENS NB OF BROWNWOOD. Ch.8312. $20.00. Fr.644. 1902 DB. CH VF $475.00 Choice Very Fine. Somewhat faded purple signatures and a small green stain in the lower right margin. One of only ten large size notes reported with this note being the only Date Back known on this bank. 523 TEXAS. THE UVALDE NATIONAL BANK. Ch.5175. $20.00. Fr.581. 1882 DB. G $3,900.00 Good. The note is actually better but has a small piece missing from the left side and an internal body separation in the center. There is some pencil writing on the face. The signature of the president is strong while the cashier's is gone. There is some mounting damage on the back. Very rare with only three known in the census, this note being new to the census. Graded Good-04 by RCGS. 524 WASHINGTON. THE EXCHANGE NB OF SPOKANE. Ch.4044. $10.00. Fr.626. 1902 PB. G $50.00 Good with the bottom left corner eaten away. The signatures are weak and the soiling is moderately heavy. 525 WASHINGTON. THE NB OF TACOMA. Ch.3417. $10.00. Fr.630. 1902 PB. F $100.00 Fine, in terms of wear but the note exhibits a trio of holes of different sizes. The one near the upper left margin is the largest and measures about one inch high by one-half inch wide.
