Good. This lilac gray example is well circulated but problem-free. The surfaces and rims are smooth and free of marks. This scarce variety was not discovered until after Browning had published his seminal work on early Quarters. An important opportunity for the specialist to add an eye appealing example to his collection.

Light gold toning on the obverse, the reverse mostly untoned and satiny. Well struck with even the most intricate part of the design fully struck. There is some weakness though on the denticles, which is not unusual for these early issues. A really attractive example for the collector of Early American coins.
