This steel-gray specimen boasts fully lustrous surfaces. An exacting strike allows for needle sharp details and beautiful surfaces. Proof buffaloes are always popular and in high demand. A mere 1,275 Matte Proofs were produced of this date in this popularly collected series.

Very Fine and very sharp for the grade. Excellent detail including three-quarters of a horn. Steel gray toning over pleasing surfaces. A very minor hairline in the headdress is this coin's only detraction. Here is a premium quality example that has good appeal and that is actually quite difficult to locate in this pleasing middle grade. PCGS VF20.
