A tiny edge bruise at 12:00 on the obverse is this coin's main flaw. Well struck, adding to the eye appeal of this popular coin. 2847 1908 No Motto. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $580.00 Velvet mint bloom envelopes premium quality, yellow-golden fields and design features. 2848 1908 No Motto. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $540.00 - and featuring warm yellow-golden mint bloom on either side. A mild obverse copper stain is evident near the rim at the right obverse. 2849 1908 No Motto BU $540.00 A strict, decently balanced Brilliant Uncirculated or better specimen. Here is a yellow-golden example that exudes fiery satin-like lustre on both the obverse and reverse. 2850 1908 No Motto. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $500.00 A full measure of icy mint frost characterizes this deep yellow-golden example. 2851 1908 No Motto. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $504.00 - and exhibiting silk-like lustre in the fields. A single trivial hairline at the left obverse hardly warrants mention. 2852 1908 No Motto BU $520.00 The appearance is that of a pleasing, evenly struck Brilliant Uncirculated specimen at first glance. Closer scrutiny, however, reveals some very light hairlines on either side. 2853 1909/8 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $1,050.00 - or finer. Here is a dramatically lustrous example of this desirable overdate, whose fields display fascinating orange-peel texture for added beauty. The '9/8' overdate is clearly visible with the naked eye, and use of magnification will reveal the finer features of the '8' below the final '9' in the date. 2854 1909 AU $540.00 About Uncirculated or thereabouts. There are a handful of very light marks visible at the obverse rim, otherwise frosty pale orange-golden surfaces are quite pleasing. 2855 1909'S' AU $452.00 About Uncirculated in terms of wear. Both sides, however, exhibit heavy hairlines from a harsh cleaning. 2856 1910 BU $530.00 The reverse is Brilliant Uncirculated. The obverse is essentially so. Evenly struck fields and design elements are drenched in dense icy mint frost. 2857 1910 CH AU $540.00 A bright, very lustrous Choice About Uncirculated example. There is only light friction at the most vulnerable locations, and the only defects are well positioned and largely inconspicuous. 2858 1910 AU $466.00 About Uncirculated or nearly so and retaining quite a bit of frosty mint lustre beneath pale coppery toning. There are two or three very light marks at the rims that do not significantly detract. 2859 1911'D' AU $520.00 Detail of About Uncirculated. The reverse is well struck and satiny. The obverse, regretfully, has been lightly polished. 2860 1913'D' EF $470.00 A lustrous, very strong Extremely Fine or better specimen. Balanced deep yellow-golden surfaces are embellished by an ample offering of mint frost in the devices. 2861 1914'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $550.00 - virtually of Choice distinction. A warm, satiny glow augments bold definition. The surface quality is clearly better than the norm. 2862 1915 CH AU $650.00 Choice About Uncirculated and offering yellow-golden, icy mint frost on both the obverse and reverse. A thin central obverse mark is well concealed by Liberty's drapery. 2863 1915'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $481.00 Lemon-gold toning over surfaces that exhibit some light hairlines. Well struck and lustrous. 2864 1915'S' AU $491.00 About Uncirculated. This delicate orange-golden example is well balanced and offers an above average presentation. 2865 1922 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $521.00 - nearly a Choice specimen. Orange-golden fields and design features are highlighted by the slightest trace of delicate champagne toning. 2866 1922 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $525.00 A very lustrous example that is devoid of any major marks and is quite attractive for the grade. 2867 1922 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $505.00 This sharp, silk-like example has sustained a few light rim marks at both the left obverse and reverse. 2868 1922 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $500.00 - and offering shimmering mint frost. There is, however, a small copper stain just below the olive branch in the right obverse field. 2869 1923 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $600.00 Lustrous original surfaces. 2870 1923 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $525.00 - and enjoying an ample degree of luxuriant mint frost. A light rim mark or two at the right obverse are the only defects that require special mention. 2871 1923 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $505.00 The obverse is toned a rich rose-gold. The reverse exhibits splashes of deep orange-gold mostly near the center. 2872 1924 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $500.00 - were it not for some tiny tarnish specks at both 3:00 on the obverse, and at the upper central reverse. The surfaces are otherwise both quite smooth and wonderfully satiny. 2873 1924 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $560.00 - and nearly Choice. Here is a fully lustrous specimen of this commonly encountered St. Gaudens issue. 2874 1924 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $525.00 - and close to Choice as there is a decided lack of marks. 2875 1924 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $520.00 - and offering some features that are indicative of a Choice classification.
