This wonderfully sharp example of the second circulating date saw brief use in daily commerce but retains a wealth of bold detail and deep yellow-gold surfaces to assure undeniable visual appeal for type or date collectors. 2801 1872'S' AU $750.00 About Uncirculated, nearly Choice. Glowing rich orange and red mint frost rings the devices and legends on this specimen of an issue that is nearly unobtainable in full Mint State. Scarce. 2802 1875'S' AU $500.00 Detail of About Uncirculated. Well struck struck and vibrant. There is, however, evidence of a past cleaning as well as several light obverse rim marks. 2803 1876 CH AU $505.00 Choice About Uncirculated with respect to wear, however there are numerous light hairlines on the obverse. The reverse is essentially Mint State. This satiny example is accented by ever so delicate toning. 2817 1893 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $510.00 Frosty surfaces with some marks on the cheek. Greenish-gold toning with some light pink in the centers. 2818 1894 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $475.00 Velvet-satin bloom is featured on this pale rose-golden specimen. There is a very minor obverse rim stain at 5:00. 2819 1894'S' BU $505.00 A glowing, velvet-like Brilliant Uncirculated specimen. The initial appearance is that of a Choice example, however there are shallow facial marks as well as a very minor obverse rim bruise at 3:00. 2820 1894'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $475.00 Were it not for an obverse rim mark at 10:30, this satiny, generally smooth specimen would be better than the norm. 2821 1894'S' CH AU $480.00 Choice About Uncirculated, virtually a Mint State example. The obverse exhibits numerous shallow bag abrasions, however the lustre is entirely intact. 2822 1894'S' AU $475.00 About Uncirculated and enjoying pleasant shades of coppery-gold over warm mint lustre on either side. There is a small reverse rim mark at 6:00. 2823 1894'S' CH EF $500.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Frosty devices are complemented by traces of pale orange-golden toning. 2824 1896 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $480.00 Quite original lustre and color suggesting a higher grade but for two or three obverse marks. 2825 1896 EF $460.00 Extremely Fine. Lightly polished at one time. 2826 1896'S' AU $500.00 About Uncirculated. A past cleaning has left the coin with a satiny finish. 2827 1897 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $500.00 There are a few light marks in the upper left obverse field, as well as some faint abrasion at the obverse cheek and high points. The lustre, however, is quite attractive and the overall presentation is noteworthy. 2828 1898'S' CH EF $625.00 Choice Extremely Fine.
