1906'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. A very attractive coin that has delicate teal hints and gold over the vibrant lustre. The surfaces are clean and fresh, with no disturbing problems. For identification there is a pair of tiny nicks near the point of Liberty's bust. As for the strike, it shows the usual trace weakness on the claw and arrow feathers and is sharp elsewhere. Overall, an impressive example of this scarce date and mint. It is remarkable that any such coins survived unscathed the devastating effects of the April, 1906 San Francisco earthquake and subsequent fire.
