1905 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. Exceptionally bright crimson and fuchsia peripheral toning on the obverse and reverse mixes with patches of sea-green and blue shades. An appealing coin that has minimal hairlines or slide marks on Liberty's face, and these scarcely warrant mention. The only other fault is that more Barber Halves lack the dizzying array of colors found here! The present coin was housed in a Library Of Coins album for many years, which may have brought on these vivid hues, but care must be taken as the plastic slides in such albums are notorious for causing ''slide marks'' on Liberty's cheek and neck. An impressive example and certainly one of the most attractive from the meager mintage of 727 pieces.
