 1893'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated with prooflike mirrored fields. Light natural toning over the surfaces ranges from tawny gold to iridescent green near the edge. A premium example for the date collector that has long commanded attention. A small mintage of 740,000 pieces keeps demand high for attractive examples in all grades, particularly so in Mint State. The present coin has a couple of trivial reeding marks on the obverse, cleaner on the reverse. A better than average strike with all the obverse stars complete, but some weakness is found on the right claw and lower arrow feathers as usually seen.
