Autographed Check on the Cashier of the Miami Exporting Company, 1815, signed by William Henry Harrison....Autographed Check on the Cashier of the Miami Exporting Company, 1815, signed by William Henry Harrison. Ninth President of the United States. A check for $10.00 drawn on the Miami Exporting Company dated June 3, 1815. A check drawn after the War of 1812 on a company that operated as one of the largest banks of issue in Ohio at the time. Eventually, the bank would fail in a few short years. Sharply signed with a hammer cancel that touches the left of the signature. An ink streak at the upper left. Corner mounted to a display board with shaved lower corners in the wide margin. Quite a pleasing check.
