The lustre is quite nice and original and the strike is exceptional. Mostly untoned, this wonderful coin would showcase any high grade Morgan Dollar Collection. 1551 1896'O' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $13,000.00 Remarkably bold lustrous surfaces raise this near-Gem several steps higher above the normally dull examples generally seen of this exceptionally rare New Orleans date. A colorful dash of red-gold toning on Liberty's headband enlivens the obverse, while the reverse is stark silver-white.
