NGC MS61. 1608 1882'S' CH EF $500.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Wear is light but measurable, with much lustre remaining around the reliefs. Marks are few and remarkably light. 1609 1883'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $1,300.00 - and on the threshold of Choice. Powerful cartwheel brilliance and deepest red-gold lustre present a scattering of bagmarks in the left obverse field. This coin personifies the leap in value between simple Mint State and fully Choice. NGC MS63. 1614 1885'S' CH AU $575.00 Choice About Uncirculated, near-Mint State. Boldly lustrous fields, bold devices testify to a forceful strike, some scattered bagmarks offer little distraction. 1615 1887'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $2,200.00 - and near-Choice. Cartwheel lustre covers both sides of this boldly detailed coin, whose reflective fields and devices show evidence of bag storage years ago. Meticulously detailed devices and fields are marvelously smooth and unusually free of troublesome marks. The very conservatively graded coin's lustre shows a glowing richness vastly superior to that of most Gold coins of this era in U.S. numismatic history. PCGS MS63. 1619 1889'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $901.00 - nearly of Choice quality. Pale orange-gold in the center with the borders a delicate green-gold. Impressively struck with much mint bloom present. 1620 1889'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $525.00 An attractive coin at arms length, but close examination reveals a past wiping. 1621 1889'S' CH AU $575.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A smartly struck coin with distinct types, lush honey-wheaten gold in hue. A few minute digs on neck. NGC AU58. 1622 1889'S' (2) AU $1,050.00 About Uncirculated and Very Fine. The first coin is lustrous but shows signs of an old wiping. 2 pieces. 1623 1890'CC' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $1,300.00 At first glance this luxuriantly lustrous coin is fully Choice but close study reveals a small area of skillful smoothing in the right obverse field. Although not the rarest of the Carson City dates, this specimen would make a fine representative example of this Wild West issue. 1624 1890'CC' AU $1,000.00 About Uncirculated. Significant gleaming lustre surrounds the clearly defined reliefs on this late date Carson City strike. A limited number of unobtrusive hairlines can be found and the reverse shows a few small flecks of ebony. 1625 1890'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $5,000.00 Fully lustrous with a delicate cartwheel reflectivity, this coin shows deeper gold on the highest points of the crisply defined head of Liberty. PCGS MS63. 1626 1891'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $2,300.00 Pervasive frosty lustre deepens in tone on Liberty's cheek, diadem and highest locks. This reverse is entirely pale yellow-gold. PCGS MS63. 1627 1891'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $750.00 - near-Choice. Assertively bright gold lustre and some obverse bagmarks distinguish this pleasing Gay Nineties Gold piece. PCGS MS62. 1628 1891'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $550.00 - or finer. A well-struck Double Eagle with good color. Lemony-yellow sheen. NGC AU58. 1630 1892'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $2,200.00 Delightfully free of distracting marks, a couple of darker areas are seen on Liberty's cheek and locks, frosty yellow-gold lustre covers both sides. PCGS MS63. 1631 1892'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $875.00 - close to Choice. Substantially brighter, somewhat prooflike deep-yellow lustre drenches this moderately bagmarked San Francisco coin. NTC MS62PL. 1632 1893'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $2,200.00 Lemon-gold lustre enhances this San Francisco coin's outstanding strike. Such bagmarks as are present must be described as minimal and of limited visual impact. PCGS MS63. 1633 1893'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $650.00 - virtually Choice. Richly gleaming deep yellow lustre offers boldest flash, along with a number of mild bagmarks on both sides.
