About Uncirculated. Surfaces are a hard and glossy, dark chestnut brown hue on both obverse and reverse. Design motifs are quite strongly defined, but for a bit of weakness in the back of obverse effigy's hair and at his eye. A glass reveals a touch of granularity in areas, which does not detract from the overall high eye appeal of this popularly collected New York copper. NGC AU58.
