According to Breen, the Type I Reverse of this date is rare. 1113 1882 AB EF $405.00 About Extremely Fine. Moderate wear, a wealth of rose and mauve define this colorful specimen. 1114 1884 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $1,300.00 A scarce date in any condition. Watery reflectivity surrounds the obverse central device that is toned a lovely graphite gray. Here is a thoroughly appealing and lustrous example of this low mintage San Francisco date, distinguished by glass-gleaming silver and contrasting tawny red-gold of the greatest delicacy. NGC MS62. 1118 1896 Gem Brilliant Proof GEM BR PF $2,400.00 A lovely pearl gray iridescence enhances both surfaces of this stunning example. Deeply mirrored fields surround the frosted central device. The needle-sharp strike adds to the appeal of this blazer. Just 762 Proofs were struck in 1896. NGC PF65 CAMEO. 1119 1896 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $950.00 - approaching a Gem classification. Watery underlying fields and frosty devices are embellished by a lovely blush of champagne-golden toning on either side. The design features are needle-sharp at every location, and there is a trace of sky-blue iridescence at the reverse rim. A mere 762 Proofs of this date were struck. Gem but for an obverse field abrasion. Extremely elusive in such outstanding grade and preservation and housed in a very early encapsulation. PCGS MS63. 1125 1921 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $8,500.00 Wonderfully lustrous and fully brilliant with a tantalizing wisp of champagne at the crisp rims. A very forceful strike results in a wealth of fine detail for this specimen of the second lowest-mintage date in this ever-popular series. Here is another key coin displaying hard to duplicate grade and visual quality. PCGS MS64. 1126 1921'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $9,500.00 Here is a significant, virtual Gem specimen of one of the most coveted dates of this series. One of only 208,000 struck in the bitter post-World War I economic slump that affected most U.S. coin production. Rich silver lustre is incredibly smooth with just a hint of clearest gold over a strike displaying a typically weak obverse center. NGC MS64. 1127 1927'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $7,500.00 Frosty silver fields and devices are of the most exquisite quality, overlaid with luxuriant tawny gold that is somewhat uneven on the flashing reverse. Walking Liberty pieces of the 1920's in this outstanding grade are truly hard to find. 1128 1936 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $180.00 Pristine satiny mint frost permeates both obverse and reverse.
