Lot # Description Grade Hammer Price 1286 1921 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,100.00 - despite a few very minor obverse reeding marks on Liberty's cheek. The coloration is absolutely gorgeous; there being a splendid blend of olive-gold, rose, and subtle emerald iridescence. Well struck for this issue and enjoying an abundance of unbroken satin-velvet underlying mint bloom. 1287 1921 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $1,700.00 Another absolutely dazzling coin that has incredible blast white frost on both obverse and reverse. Superbly struck devices are also very evident. The resulting eye appeal makes this coin worthy of strong bidding. PCGS MS65. 1288 1921 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $850.00 A third. Varying shades of lavender and pale olive-gray toning display a subtle fingerprint pattern, and are deeper on the reverse. The underlying surfaces are bold for the issue, and are bathed in rich silken bloom. 1289 1921 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,400.00 A fourth. The central strike is not full; however, the color and surface quality is exceptional. Smooth, velvet-like fields and design features are awash in waves of sea-green, rose-gray, and golden iridescence. 1290 1921 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 A fifth. Here is a near-Gem example of the popular High Relief first issue of this distinctive design. Lovely silver surfaces boast bold cartwheel reflectivity, a single slide mark on the cheek. 1291 1921 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $280.00 - with claims to the Gem category. A sixth. Delicate golden-rose surfaces are augmented by deeper iridescence in the most protected areas of the devices. Satiny and quite appealing. 1292 1921 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $375.00 A seventh. The obverse is toned a rich gold with olive-russet peripheries. The reverse is a significantly deeper olive-mauve with golden undertones. Well struck. 1293 1921 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $360.00 An eighth. Lilac and blue toning emphasizes the exciting quality of this example of the high relief first date. 1294 1921 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $160.00 A ninth. Pleasing golden toning over surfaces that exhibit nice lustre from under the toning. An unusual little notch is evident Liberty's cheek that appears as if the metal has melted in that area. Still a very good appearance. 1295 1921 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $160.00 A tenth. This pleasing high relief strike displays relatively mark-free glowing silver lustre which carries a whisper of tantalizing clear gold. 1296 1921 AU $160.00 Extremely Fine. Light rim marks; 1934'S' About Uncirculated. Frosty lustre is accompanied by hints of pale lilac, mauve, and gold. Scarce this nice. 2 pieces. 1297 1923'D' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $400.00 - and drenched in a compelling blend of pale jade, rose, and russet toning. Wonderfully satiny obverse fields and design features are particularly free of imperfections. The reverse reveals only a few inconspicuously placed light contact marks. Outstanding. 1298 1923'D', 1925'S'. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $750.00 - and an entirely satiny duo. The former exhibits splashes of russet and lilac-rose over a sharp strike. The latter is toned in shades of very deep emerald and champagne. 2 pieces. 1299 1924'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $675.00 - nearly Choice. A lustrous example that has some pale toning and a single spot on the obverse. 1300 1924'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $170.00 Another. Flashing lustre shows scattered bagmarks and a cloudy spot under GOD. 1301 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $550.00 - or better. Varying shades of deep tan-rose and sea-green toning immerse rich satin-velvet fields and devices. 1302 1925'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $700.00 - and a twin to the prior lot. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $3,750.00 - and approaching a Gem classification. The toning and lustre match that of the coins in the prior two lots. 2 pieces. 1308 1926 (3). Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU to GEM BU $180.00 - to Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. All offer deep golden and/or iridescent toning over premium quality surfaces. The reverse of one coin exhibits an interesting crescent of rainbow coloration. 3 pieces. 1309 1926, 1935'S' VERY CH BU $260.00 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated and Choice Brilliant Uncirculated respectively. The first enjoys wonderful glowing bloom. The second displays shades of golden-brown and pale lavender toning. 2 pieces. 1310 1927 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $60.00 Lustrous and notably frosty. 1311 1927'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,700.00 A near-Gem with marvelous eye appeal including satiny surfaces that exude creamy mint lustre. The strike is strong for this date and the fields are nearly devoid of any serious marks. 1312 1927'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $650.00 Another. Medium gold toning over pleasing surfaces. The strike is a bit weak but still decent for this date. A frosty example that is sure to please. 1313 1927'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $190.00 - nearly Choice. A third. Delightful mint bloom over moderately bagmarked surfaces. A decent strike adds further to this lovely coin. 1314 1928 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $925.00 Lovely reflective glitter underlies a delicate suffusion of clear tawny gold. Only a bagmark from fully Gem, this key date is quite nice and deserving of close collector inspection. PCGS MS64. 1315 1928 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $425.00 Another.
