NGC MS63. 969 1916'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $600.00 Both surfaces are bathed in silvery white mint bloom. A well defined strike adds to the visual effect of this alluring coin. PCGS MS64. 970 1918'D' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $1,200.00 - or nearly so. Deep golden toning over slightly weakly struck surfaces. A trio of nicks that cascade down the center of the body of Miss Liberty. 971 1918'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $10,250.00 A totally appealing late wartime coin boasting exceptionally full detail, enriched by an abundance of subtly glowing mint frost with a wisp of clearest gold adding increased visual appeal. This San Francisco date has long been recognized as elusive in Choice and rarely encountered in any of the higher ranks of Mint State. NGC MS65. 972 1919'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $7,000.00 Deeply glowing silver frost shows a tantalizing flavor of radiant clear gold. Gem but for an obverse field abrasion. Extremely elusive in such outstanding grade and preservation and housed in a very early encapsulation. PCGS MS63. 973 1921 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $9,000.00 Wonderfully lustrous and fully brilliant with a tantalizing wisp of champagne at the crisp rims. A very forceful strike results in a wealth of fine detail for this specimen of the second lowest-mintage date in this ever-popular series. Here is another key coin displaying hard to duplicate grade and visual quality. PCGS MS64. 974 1921'D' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $10,000.00 Here is a significant, virtual Gem specimen of one of the most coveted dates of this series. One of only 208,000 struck in the bitter post-World War I economic slump that affected most U.S. coin production. Rich silver lustre is incredibly smooth with just a hint of clearest gold over a strike displaying a typically weak obverse center. NGC MS64. 975 1921'S' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $23,000.00 - with the reverse being fully Choice. The obverse regrettably has been lightly cleaned leaving a bright untoned surface. Well struck with the reverse exhibiting full original mint bloom. A very rare date in this condition with most being in extremely low grade. 976 1927'S' CH AU $450.00 Choice About Uncirculated. This lovely specimen sparkles with radiant lustre on satin smooth surfaces. The obverse exhibits iridescent toning around the edges flashing deep tones of plum and royal blue. The reverse is much the same with both sides showing only a hint of wear on the most vulnerable high points of the design. 977 1933'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $800.00 This crisply struck example shows some pale golden toning at the central obverse and the lower right reverse. 978 1934'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $1,350.00 - on the cusp of fully Gem. This handsome, smoothly silver example of mid-1930's coinage represents a grade that is decidedly elusive if not forthrightly rare. NGC MS64. 979 1936 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $55.00 A wonderfully detailed strike and full frosty silver lustre give this coin its outstanding visual properties. 980 1937 Gem Brilliant Proof GEM BR PF $440.00 This razor-sharp example offers glittering fields beneath rich olive-russet toning. A total of 5,728 Proofs were struck of this date. 981 1937'D' Brilliant Uncirculated BU $150.00 - with claims to a higher designation. Fully struck with frosty lustrous surfaces veiled in a light golden haze. 982 1938 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $200.00 Pale golden surfaces are bathed in frosty mint lustre on this well impressed example. 983 1939, 1940, 1940'S' GEM BU $150.00 A very attractive Gem Brilliant Uncirculated trio. All enjoy distinctive surface quality. Shades of golden toning highlight the first coin. The second offers a bold strike beneath a lavender-golden blend. The last is nicely struck for the date and exhibits a gentle blush of olive-lavender. 3 pieces. 984 1939'D' (2). Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $80.00 - pair of this date. Both display splashes of uneven russet and lilac-golden iridescence. 2 pieces. 985 1939'D', 1946'D' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $70.00 The former is toned a pale gold with deeper obverse interior splashes. The latter offers rose-red and olive-golden hues. 2 pieces. 986 1939'S' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $240.00 This virtually flawless milky white frosted jewel showcases the fine detail of Weinman's classic design. 987 1941 Very Choice Brilliant Proof VERY CH BR PF $600.00 Deeply reflective fields that are nearly mark-free and are very lightly toned. The variety without the designers initials on the reverse. 988 1941, 1943, 1947'D' Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $160.00 A nice lustrous trio with nice surfaces and little if any marks; 1962 Choice Brilliant Proof. Lightly toned. 990 1943'S' Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $290.00 Lovely original russet and gold toning over well preserved surfaces. Well struck and attractive. 991 1946'D' (5). Choice Brilliant Uncirculated to Gem Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU to GEM BU $190.00 The surface quality of this quintet is quite nice, however the mottled golden toning pattern does not particularly flatter each coin. 5 pieces. 992 1947 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $250.00 Here is an unusually high grade example of the final Walking Liberty date, boasting immaculate gleaming silver-white fields of pleasing intensity.
