736 1879 CH F $700.00

Choice Fine and exhibiting shades of pleasant pale golden-gray toning. Smooth, evenly worn, and defect-free in every respect. This very elusive date offers a total mintage of only 29,100 pieces.

Extremely Fine. Pale tan-gray fields and design elements reveal only a single trivial hairline at the lower left reverse. Some scuffing is evident upon examination of the edge that in no way affects either side of this rare coin. A rather paltry 16,000 business strikes and 3,955 Proofs were struck of this issue.
738 1881 EF $325.00

Detail of Extremely Fine. Gently polished long ago and now acquiring a blush of light olive-golden and iridescent toning. There is a very minor obverse edge bump at 4:30 that hardly detracts. This very scarce coin is one of a mintage of only 72,375 total pieces struck of this date.
739 1882 Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $320.00

An unusually full strike distinguishes this silvery near-Gem, whose reflective fields show a faint flavor of gold. PCGS MS64.
740 1882 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $180.00

Another. This well struck example features frosty lustre over pale gray surfaces.
741 1883 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated GEM BU $375.00

Stark glowing silver drenches both sides of this crisply detailed example of the final date of this type. A single obverse die crack reminds the viewer of this design's short die life. PCGS MS65.
