$3,500.00 |
Lustrous and satiny with a pale golden sheen on both sides. Nicely struck for the date, with nearly full sharpness in every quarter. The only collectible Carson City Mint issue of this short-lived denomination; the only other issue from that mint, the 1876-CC, is among the most prominent of all U.S. numismatic rarities. A pleasing coin for the grade. |

$2,000.00 |
Highly lustrous with satiny pale golden surfaces. Some lightness of strike is present, mostly discernible at the denomination and mintmark on the reverse. All in all, a lovely example of a perennial favorite with type coin collectors, and a coin that won't "break the bank" should you decide to add it burgeoning type set. |
