Light rose-gold toning over well preserved surfaces. Boldly struck and very appealing for the grade.

A strong Very Fine, nearly Extremely Fine specimen. The surfaces are toned a handsome medium gray, however there is an old obverse facial hairline scratch as well as some trivial slide marks. A very scarce date this nice.

- with claims to Choice. Gleaming silver-white surfaces combine with a careful strike. Only some exceedingly subtle obverse lines keep this delightful coin from higher grade.

Extremely Fine. Antique brown with some light iridescent toning on the reverse. ANACS EF45; 1963 Gem Brilliant Proof. Lovely surfaces that are enhanced by pale blue and rose toning. - near Gem with Full Head and Shield. Wonderfully smooth frosty silver shows a subtly glowing suffusion of palest gold. NGC MS64FH.

About Uncirculated. The obverse is exhibits a very satisfying blend of rose and gold. The reverse is toned a delicate gray with deeper peripheries.

Extremely Fine. Toned a natural steel gray, but a glass reveals signs of a past cleaning; 1924 Choice Very Fine. Just problem free wear; 1930 About Uncirculated. Little wear is found, but somewhat flatly struck. 3 pieces.

Detail of About Uncirculated. There is evidence of a past old cleaning on either side. The coin has since toned a pale gray with hints of subtle rose. This date is elusive in any grade, and is particularly so with this degree of definition.

About Uncirculated in terms of wear. The obverse reveals evidence of a past very gentle cleaning, as well as some inconspicuous areas of shallow roughness at the right periphery. Pale gray centers are framed by traces of emerald-gold peripheral iridescence. A very scarce date in this condition.
