Boldly struck and very appealing for the grade. 2260 1911'D' EF $190.00 A strong Very Fine, nearly Extremely Fine specimen. The surfaces are toned a handsome medium gray, however there is an old obverse facial hairline scratch as well as some trivial slide marks. A very scarce date this nice. 2261 1912 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $150.00 - with claims to Choice. Gleaming silver-white surfaces combine with a careful strike. Only some exceedingly subtle obverse lines keep this delightful coin from higher grade. 2262 1912 CH BU $80.00 Extremely Fine. Antique brown with some light iridescent toning on the reverse. ANACS EF45; 1963 Gem Brilliant Proof. Lovely surfaces that are enhanced by pale blue and rose toning. ANACS PF67; 50¢. 1942 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $440.00 - near Gem with Full Head and Shield. Wonderfully smooth frosty silver shows a subtly glowing suffusion of palest gold. NGC MS64FH. 2266 1917 Type I. AU $130.00 About Uncirculated. The obverse is exhibits a very satisfying blend of rose and gold. The reverse is toned a delicate gray with deeper peripheries. 2267 1917 Type I. AU $110.00 Extremely Fine. Toned a natural steel gray, but a glass reveals signs of a past cleaning; 1924 Choice Very Fine. Just problem free wear; 1930 About Uncirculated. Little wear is found, but somewhat flatly struck. 3 pieces. 2268 1917'D' Type I. CH EF $100.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Well balanced, defect-free, and accented by russet toning at the peripheries. CH AU $85.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Well struck and offering a full measure of icy mint frost beneath an ever so subtle blush of lilac toning. 2272 1917 Type II, 1923 CH EF $125.00 Both are Choice Extremely Fine. The first is toned a pale gold with deeper areas at the peripheries. The second is predominantly toned a lavender-gray with hints of peripheral russet. 2 pieces. 2273 1917'D' Type II, 1917'S' Type II. AU $120.00 Both are solid About Uncirculated examples. The former reveals a number of very inconspicuous reverse scratches under close scrutiny. Delicately muted frosty mint lustre is highlighted by a pale shade of russet-gray. 2276 1918'S' AU $140.00 A strong About Uncirculated example. There is a delicate blend of russet-gold and subtle gray toning that highlights plenty of underlying frosty mint lustre. 2277 1919 AU $95.00 About Uncirculated. Satiny, evenly struck, and accented by a wisp of olive-golden peripheral toning. There is a single tiny speck in the right obverse field. 2278 1919 AU $110.00 Another. A sharp About Uncirculated example with claims to a higher grade. Full head and shield. Here is a bright, silver-white coin with an abundance of icy mint frost. 2279 1919'D' AU $275.00 Detail of About Uncirculated. There is evidence of a past old cleaning on either side. The coin has since toned a pale gray with hints of subtle rose. This date is elusive in any grade, and is particularly so with this degree of definition. 2280 1919'S' AU $285.00 About Uncirculated in terms of wear. The obverse reveals evidence of a past very gentle cleaning, as well as some inconspicuous areas of shallow roughness at the right periphery. Pale gray centers are framed by traces of emerald-gold peripheral iridescence. A very scarce date in this condition. 2281 1920, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929'S' VF to EF $130.00 Very Fine to Extremely Fine. All are bright from a past gentle cleaning. 5 pieces. 2282 1920'D' AU $240.00 About Uncirculated or better. Pale lavender-gray fields and design elements are highlighted by wisps of peripheral olive-golden iridescence. 2283 1923 BU $160.00 About Uncirculated or better. Cleaned to simulate a mint state appearance; 1926'D' Brilliant Uncirculated. This solid mint state specimen shows evidence of a very deceptive cleaning under close scrutiny. 2 pieces. 2284 1924 CH AU $110.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Honest and appealing. Russet and olive-golden peripheral toning embellishes plenty of underlying mint frost. 2285 1925, 1928, 1929 AU $165.00 About Uncirculated. Lightly worn, lustrous coins.
