156.7 grains. Fine or better. Dark chestnut fields, while high points of devices are worn to a lighter golden brown. Uniformly granular but strongly detailed except for INDE and date, which are both a bit weak.
1907 1785 M.3.1-A.3 (R-4). Mailed Bust Right PR $45.00

140.6 grains. Fine. Unevenly struck on a poor planchet featuring strong centers, weak peripheries and several planchet flaws. Medium brown and microgranular.
1908 1785 M.3.3-F.3 (R-4). Mailed Bust Right AB F $60.00

141.2 grains. About Fine for the variety. Fields are deep brown, devices and legends are dark tan. Planchet fissures on obverse and reverse, include a rectangular planchet flaw at lower obverse.
1909 1785 M.3.4-F.1 (R-3). Mailed Bust Right F $80.00

141.2 grains. Fine. Dark chestnut surfaces exhibit microscopic granular and a ''hard'' overall appearance. Well-detailed, with only the bottom of the '5' being a trifle weak.

141.3 grains. Very Fine. Hard, dark brown surfaces define this lightly granular yet appealing specimen featuring some minor planchet striae or flaws on both sides.

Fine or better in terms of detail. Dark chestnut with ruddy highlights, some porosity, some verdigris. 3 pieces.
1915 1785 M.4.3-D (Rarity-6). Mailed Bust Right F / VG $130.00

143.3 grains. Fine/Very Good. Glossy, dark brown and hard obverse, slightly corroded and thus weakened reverse. A planchet fissure at 6:00 on the reverse is not unusual on these 1785's.
1916 1785 M.4.4-C (R-3). Mailed Bust Right F $60.00

130.0 grains. Fine. Light to medium brown, with some flan flaws and ancient hairlines, as might be expected.
1917 1785 M.5-F.5 (R-4). Mailed Bust Right F to VF $200.00

126.7 grains. Fine to Very Fine. Ruddy brown and exhibiting very light granularity and a touch of gloss. Minor flan flaws on obverse become more severe on the reverse.

125.8 grains. Very Good. Surfaces are an exquisite light golden brown hue and exhibit a generally smooth and glossy appearance interrupted only by some of the expected planchet striae on both sides. Reverse peripheries weak, affected last digit of date and tops of legends. Here is another opportunity to acquire this rarity after our sale of the Steelman specimen in April 2004.
