1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree Threepence. Noe 34
|
AB VF |
$1,800.00 |
(R-4). 16.1 grains. About Very Fine. Fields are golden gray with lighter silver highlighting the legends. As is usual with this variety, the obverse is off-center, cutting off the topmost parts of the tree and all but 'THUSE' of the legend. Reverse is well-centered with the 1652 / III standing out boldly the center. |

Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Farthing. Breen 208
|
VF |
$1,600.00 |
Very Fine. Rich chocolate brown surfaces are a trifle darker on the obverse than the reverse. Legends and devices are worn into smoothness, while some trifling graininess in the fields is normal to this issue and should not bother even the most astute collector. Legends are full if a bit weak in areas to due to die and circulation wear. Brass splasher is well centered beneath the obverse... more |

Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Farthing

$320.00 |
Fine, but a hard coin to grade. Left obverse and right reverse exhibit the details of VF, but the right obverse and left reverse are worn nearly smooth and exhibit signs of damage. Huge splasher reaches from rim at 12:00 nearly to center of coin! A couple large verdigris pits are noted on both sides. |

Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Halfpenny. Vlack 1-A.

AB F |
$1,200.00 |
124.2 grains. About Fine. Mostly smooth, medium brown surfaces exhibit ever so faint, microscopic granularity on both faces. Rims have begun to wear into the tops of the letters, but all legends and devices are partially to fully visible. Pale yellow brass splasher is in full evidence beneath the crown, and the edge reeding is weak but visible. A nearly imperceptible wave is noted in the planchet.... more |

Undated (circa 1694). London Elephant Token. No Diagonals. Dagger in upper left quadrant

$170.00 |
About Good. Well-worn to a dark brown, with many toned-over marks on the obverse, planchet striae on the reverse. Although the central reverse is worn smooth, the relative positioning of the legends to the shield allow us to properly classify this charming Elephant Token. |

1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny. Zelinka 2-A. Nelson 4
|
VF |
$180.00 |
Very Fine. Light, even brown surfaces are rather attractive for this sometimes wretched looking issue of Irish halfpennies. Strike is about as strong as to be expected for the variety, and the surface quality is quite good as well. Here is an ideal coin for type. PCGS VF20. |
