A&G Welles and G. Libby (Boston, Mass). Ca. 1830. A&G WELLES in a rectangular punch, and G. LIBBY 1790 in two lines c/s on a Draped Bust Large Cent of uncertain date. Recorded specimens of this rare silversmith countermark combination include the date 1796 after G.Libby (his birth year). Thomas Wildes, Philadelphia (1855). Ornate crown over a large X c/s on the obverse of an 1835 Half Cent. Rv. PHILAD in one line c/m'd at center, rotary stamp and circle above and below. In the Standard Catalog of United States Tokens, 3rd Edition, Rulau notes that there are two specimens known of this variety. A few light scratches at reverse center. The host and c/s Good Very Fine.

Maverick. S.A. Magoon. S.A. MAGOON c/s in one line on a 1791 Peruvian 2 Reales. Brunk records this stamp on a U.S. Half Cent, 1804 and on a Canadian Token. It is possible that the issuer was Canadian. Host Very Good and holed, the c/s About Very Fine.

Issues from Edenton, Woodland, Grists (2), Kinston (2), Colerain, Murfreesboro, Rocky Mount, Linville, George, Clinton, Spencer, Kings Mountain (2), and Burlington, etc. Mostly ''Good Fors,'' a few Orco's, ICS, transportation, Masonic. Generally Aluminum and Brass. Two are Poor and chewed up, the rest average Very Good to Very Fine. 28 pieces.
