1722 1838 AU-50 $320.00

About Uncirculated-53. This glossy woodgrain coin would grade even higher if not for a minor reverse rim bump at 5:00. An attractive example; 1857 Large Date. About Uncirculated-50. A medium brown coin with smooth surfaces. 2 pieces.

Chocolate brown surfaces are smooth and lustrous. A forceful strike has imparted needle sharp details onto this pleasing specimen. Magnification finds some very light deposits in the central reverse details, but these deposits are nearly unnoticeable and could likely be carefully removed. A lovely example from die state C with a rim cud from 3:00 to 4:00 on the obverse.
1724 1855 N.9. Knob on Ear, Slanting 5's EF-40 $55.00

Extremely Fine-40. The diagnostic die break at the ear represents a relatively early stage. The pleasing light brown surfaces show limited wear, a couple of old toned-over pinscratches appear under a glass.
