Lot # Description Grade Hammer Price 1984 1818 O.107 AU $160.00 About Uncirculated. Lightly cleaned years ago and now retoned with delicate blue and gold around the periphery. Lustrous in the fields and the surfaces are clean. A few minor surface scratches are visible with a loupe. Both dies show evidence of clashing in the fields. 1985 1818 O.108. Pincer 8s EF $200.00 Extremely Fine. The Pincer 8s are the result of tiny openings at the top of each '8' in the date. Light silver with a touch of peripheral gold. An average example for the variety collector. 1986 1818 O.111 CH EF $180.00 Choice Extremely Fine. A well struck coin that retains ample originality with pewter gray color throughout and pleasing surfaces and rims. 1987 1818 O.111 EF $140.00 Extremely Fine. An average strike for this die pairing and medium gray with hints of gold near the rims. 1988 1818 O.114a (R-3) CH EF $240.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Attractive copperish and blue toning on both sides, with lustre in the fields. Problem-free surfaces. 1989 1819/8 O.102. Large 9 over 8 EF $180.00 Extremely Fine. Fresh, natural surfaces are silver in color with darker hues near the devices. A decent strike and clean surfaces which have no significant marks or nicks. 1990 1819/8 O.104. Large 9 over 8 EF $170.00 Extremely Fine or better. Muted gray and gold throughout. One tiny rim tick on the reverse at about 5:00. Very attractive. 1991 1819 O.108 (R-3) CH EF $170.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Light silver and slightly reflective. A well struck and pleasing coin for the grade. 1992 1819 O.109 AU $320.00 About Uncirculated. Original light blue and russet toning is very eye catching. This is a later die state with the 'TE' of STATES connected at the top and bottom by engraver's scratches. The die was likely touched up late in this die marriage and these lines were accidentally placed on the die connecting the top and bottom of the 'TE'. 1993 1819 O.114 (R-3) EF $130.00 Extremely Fine. Lovely peripheral rainbow toning on the obverse and reverse, likely from storage in an old coin board album for decades. The centers are bright silver. A few minor dull scratches can be seen with a loupe on either side. 1994 1819 O.115 (R-3) AU $200.00 About Uncirculated. Bright silver with a touch of peripheral gold toning on both sides. Some lustre resides through the stars and legend. A few hairlines and a thin pin scratch are noted. 1995 1820/19 O.102. Curl Base 2, Small Date CH VF $315.00 Choice Very Fine. Especially well preserved with pleasing original semi-prooflike fields. Steel gray with a touch of blue near the rims. The overdate feature is particularly bold on this die pairing. 1996 1820 O.105a (R-3). Square Base Knob 2, Large Date EF $360.00 Extremely Fine. Sharp and attractive with the colorful peripheral toning and clean surfaces. This later die state has several faint obverse cracks as noted in the Overton reference. 1997 1821 O.105a. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $875.00 - but cleaned years back. Bright silver in general with the periphery ringed in light blue and gold. There is some minor residue within the vertical shield lines. Sharply struck, and a middle die state with the crack through 'TAT' light. 1998 1821 O.105a EF $220.00 Extremely Fine with good eye appeal for the peripheral gold and blue toning. Bright silver to the centers. 1999 1822 O.107 AU $130.00 About Uncirculated. This is the ''button cap'' variety. The obverse is Choice but the reverse has some dull scratches, mostly in the field over the eagle. 2000 1823 O.102 (R-4). Patched 3 AU $525.00 About Uncirculated. This is the popular variety in which the so called ''Broken 3'' obverse die has been patched to repair the slight break at the center where the loops join. Light silver in color with enhancing gold toning around the devices and periphery. Traces of lustre remain, and the coin is reasonably appealing for the grade. 2001 1823 O.105 CH AU $260.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Just a bit of rub and very nicely toned with iridescent accents highlighting the lettering and devices. An attractive collector coin. 2002 1823 O.107 CH EF $160.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Natural gray surfaces with some blues and pinks mixed into the fields. A pleasing coin for the grade. 2003 1823 O.111a CH EF $180.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Light lemon and green toning near the devices, light gray elsewhere. Excellent surfaces and decent eye appeal for this date. A well-made, well-preserved coin. 2004 1824 O.105 CH EF $160.00 Choice Extremely Fine. A bright silver coin with a touch of peripheral gold and some lustre in the fields. Clean surfaces and attractive throughout. 2005 1824 O.107 CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A well struck coin showing doubling on the date and a few stars. Clean surfaces toned steel gray with some greenish tints and a dark streak on the left obverse. 2006 1824 O.107 AU $160.00 About Uncirculated. Evidence of an old cleaning as the surfaces show moderate hairlines and are still a bit bright. Traces of lustre remain and the coin is still quite decent for the grade. 2007 1824/4 O.110 AU $300.00 About Uncirculated. Steel gray and desirable for the colorful peripheral toning and clean surfaces. No rim or surface problems and a strong double profile on Liberty is present. 2008 1825 O.106 (R-4) CH AU $240.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Original surfaces with attractive light silver centers and ringed with delicate gold and blue. A scarce variety that has good eye appeal for the collector. One trivial scratch on Liberty's neck extends down from close to her ear. 2009 1825 O.113 CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. The fields retain an attractive mirror finish and toned with copper and blue peripheral colors. A well struck, well preserved Half Dollar. 2010 1825 O.113 AU $180.00 About Uncirculated. Dipped years ago and now toned about the edge with a pleasing bluish ring. A minor planchet imperfection is found near the top of the reverse. 2011 1825 O.113 EF $130.00 Extremely Fine. Light steel gray with a delightful ring of peripheral blue on the obverse and reverse, with clean surfaces throughout. 2012 1825 O.115 (R-3) EF $160.00 Extremely Fine. Pewter gray and a touch of peripheral gold with traces of lustre. Essentially Choice and attractive in every way. 2013 1826 O.104 (R-3) CH EF $145.00 Choice Extremely Fine.
