The reverse has the usual heavy die crack connecting the left wing to the upper pair of leaves below. 2045 1832 O.103 CH AU $220.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Medium silver and attractive for the clean surfaces and excellent rims. 2046 1832 O.104 (R-3) CH AU $225.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A lustrous, steel gray coin with a touch of blue in the fields. Later die state with clashing present and the legends and stars are drawn toward the rims. 2047 1832 O.110 CH AU $180.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Light gray with some gold around the rims. One small hidden nick near the front of Liberty's drapery, another just below the motto. 2048 1832 O.122. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $400.00 A touch of weakness on the motto as frequently seen. Toned with peripheral blue and gold, with ample lustre to please the eye. Excellent surfaces throughout. 2049 1833 O.103 AU $100.00 About Uncirculated. Light silver with a trace of gold. There are two minor cuts on the obverse, one below Liberty's cap, the other along the back of her curls. Decent for the grade. 2050 1833 O.109 (R-3) AU $160.00 About Uncirculated. Light evidence of cleaning in the form of hairlines and slightly dulled lustre. Starting to tone with peripheral gold. 2051 1833 O.112 AU $180.00 About Uncirculated. Splashes of peripheral gold and some lustre in the protected areas. No rim or similar surface problems distract. 2052 1833 O.112 AU $145.00 About Uncirculated and essentially Choice, but lightly cleaned. The usual resulting hairlines are present, but strong lustre remains on this bright silver coin. 2053 1834 O.101. Large Date, Large Letters EF $75.00 Extremely Fine. Tawny matte gold and light gray cover smooth surfaces, the high points are silvery. 2054 1834 O.105. Large Date, Small Letters CH AU $191.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Steel gray with darker gray highlighting the devices and lettering. No surface problems aside from trivial circulation hairlines. 2055 1834 O.106. Large Date, Small Letters CH AU $350.00 Very Choice About Uncirculated. Delicate gold peripheral toning enhances the lustrous fields. A well struck, well preserved coin in every way. 2056 1834 O.107. Large Date, Small Letters CH AU $240.00 Choice About Uncirculated. A fully original steel gray coin that has excellent surfaces and good eye appeal. 2057 1834 O.111. Small Date, Small Letters CH EF $77.00 Choice Extremely Fine. However, there is an obverse scratch before Liberty's neck down into her drapery and a planchet streak through the clasp. Gold and blue toning and still attractive. 2058 1834 O.114. Small Date, Small Letters. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $300.00 - or nicer, but cleaned with the usual resulting hairlines and dullness to the lustre. A sharply struck coin that has now acquired delicate peripheral gold toning with the centers light silver. 2059 1834 O.114 (R-3). Small Date and Letters VF $65.00 Very Fine. Delicate gold-gray in the smooth fields complements the devices. A small scratch on the jaw. 2060 1834 O.117. Small Date, Small Letters. Brilliant Uncirculated BU $200.00 - but dipped years ago and now with attractive toning forming over the surfaces. Moderate hairlines exist in the fields. The reverse has irregular blue toning. 2061 1834 O.119 (R-4). Small Date, Small Letters AU $200.00 About Uncirculated. The surface have some hairlines from a past cleaning, still bright silver over most of the surfaces, with the rims toning back with gold and blue highlights. A scarce variety which has proven difficult to obtain over the years and has recently been elevated to the R-4 level by Steve Herrman and the Bust Half Dollar collectors. 2062 1835 O.103 AU $240.00 About Uncirculated. Choice and original with medium silver-gray and a hint of gold. Excellent surfaces and eye appeal. 2063 1835 O.104 (R-4). Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $675.00 The stars are finely shaped and placed well inside the crisply defined denticles. Boldest glowing silver lustre provides this coin with its exciting cartwheel gleam. 2064 1835 O-104 (R-3) CH AU $180.00 Choice About Uncirculated but a little scuffy in the fields and there is a minor planchet flaw on the rim near the first star. The edge is blundered ORALF. A lustrous coin that is bright silver with a touch of peripheral gold starting to settle in. 2065 1835 O.109 CH EF $130.00 Choice Extremely Fine. Attractive natural steel-gray surfaces with minimal circulation evidence and good rims. Dark gray around the reverse rim. 2066 1835 O.109 AU $150.00 About Uncirculated. A well struck coin that is nearly Choice, but shows some minor hairlines and is light silver overall. 2067 1836/1336 O.108a CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Light appealing toning over lustre and sharply defined devices. The overdate feature is clear with a loupe, apparently the engraver was a little mixed up with this obverse die was made. 2068 1836 O.112 CH AU $260.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Muted steel gray with beautiful peripheral toning, but there are some hairlines present in the fields. Boldly executed and still pleasing. 2069 1836 O.115. Repunched '8' AU $220.00 About Uncirculated. Traces of lustre under rich golden bluish toning. A few ancient scrapes on the obverse. 2070 1836 O.117 (R-3) AU $240.00 About Uncirculated with the obverse toned with deep blue and russet near the rim, the reverse lighter. Sharp and still attractive despite having been lightly dipped years ago. 2071 1836 O.120 (R-4-) CH AU $300.00 Choice About Uncirculated. Smoky gray toning on the obverse, the reverse lighter gray. One thin scratch is found in the field between Liberty's nose and the fourth star.
