About Uncirculated. Cleaned long ago and now toned with delicate gold accents. The reverse has the usual heavy die crack connecting the left wing to the upper pair of leaves below.

Choice About Uncirculated. Medium silver and attractive for the clean surfaces and excellent rims.

Choice About Uncirculated. A lustrous, steel gray coin with a touch of blue in the fields. Later die state with clashing present and the legends and stars are drawn toward the rims.

Choice About Uncirculated. Light gray with some gold around the rims. One small hidden nick near the front of Liberty's drapery, another just below the motto.

About Uncirculated. The surface have some hairlines from a past cleaning, still bright silver over most of the surfaces, with the rims toning back with gold and blue highlights. A scarce variety which has proven difficult to obtain over the years and has recently been elevated to the R-4 level by Steve Herrman and the Bust Half Dollar collectors.

Choice About Uncirculated. Smoky gray toning on the obverse, the reverse lighter gray. One thin scratch is found in the field between Liberty's nose and the fourth star. A well struck example of this elusive variety which has proven to be even more difficult than thought in recent years.
