Extremely Fine-45, nearly About Uncirculated. This example shows the overdate quite clearly and was struck on a better than average copper flan for the issue. The fields are smooth, with only a few marks indicating its high grade circulated condition. This piece will be a highlight of any U.S. copper collection.
1761 1811 S.287. Normal Date F-12 $300.00

Fine-12. Here is a very pleasing example for the type. The surfaces show very light granularity but are still superior to what is usually encountered.
1762 1813 S.292 F-15 $420.00

Fine-15. This chocolate brown example has smooth, hard surfaces and strong eye appeal for the grade.

About Uncirculated-55. Hints of red color in the protected areas give this lustrous example attractive eye appeal.
1767 1818 N.10 AU-58 $180.00

About Uncirculated-58. The present example of this Randall hoard variety is of the later die state which is cracked through all stars and the date. A few minute toning spots are noted for accuracy. There is some red color showing from a past lightening, but the coin is retoning to a more natural hue.
1768 1820 F-12 $70.00

Fine-12 or nearly so. Medium brown with some encrustation on the obverse and some scratches; 1845 Fine-15. Deep brown toning over decent surfaces; 1848 Fine-12. A well balanced coin with some light verdigris on the obverse. 3 pieces.
1769 1823/2 N.1 F-15 $220.00

Fine-15. The obverse is quite pleasing for the grade but the reverse is a trifle rough.

Very Fine-20. This example shows microscopic granularity but is otherwise wholesome and attractive.
1771 1829 N.4 VF-35 $160.00

Very Fine-35. Strong details are evident on this example. Surfaces are hard and glossy but for a few flecks of verdigris.
1772 1834 N.2½. Small 8, Large Stars, Medium Letters EF-45 $160.00

Extremely Fine-45. The reverse and left half of the obverse are a lovely tan, the remaining portion of the obverse is toned brick red. Liberty's profile shows dramatic doubling.
1773 1850 N.7. Mint State-63 MS-63 $180.00

A well struck example that still offers traces of subtle mint color. Some pale green shows around the bottom of the obverse rim.
1774 1856 N.2. Slanting 5 AU-58 $130.00

About Uncirculated-58. The surfaces are a beautiful, smooth chocolate brown. A lovely coin that some would call Mint State. A thin die crack runs from the rim to the left tip of star 8 and to the top of Liberty's head.
