With some edge splits and a tear that was closed. The bottom right corner is missing. Some rebacking on a portion of the right back. Scarce. 1665 $20.00. T-17. Three Females G $200.00 Good but entirely rebacked because the note has been torn in half and reattached. The color is still quite nice and the margins are decent. Margins are tight at the top but do not cut into the design. A somewhat scarcer signature combination. 1680 $5.00. Fr.91 F $100.00 1907. Fine. Cut tight at the top. The central fold has a split at the bottom and has been repaired. Well centered. 1685 $1.00. Fr.225 G to VG $75.00 1896. Good to Very Good. A well worn but intact note with good margins but the color is a bit faded. A couple of internal spits, none too serious. 1686 $2.00. Fr.247 VG $300.00 1896. A solid Very Good with four nice margins and no tears and just one or two pinholes. 1687 $2.00. Fr.252 CH VG $105.00 1899. Choice Very Good. Decently centered with good color for the grade. Some penned initials in the reverse margin at the right. Still a respectable type note. 1688 $2.00. Fr.256 VG $140.00 1899. Very Good. Well centered. A tiny edge split or two that does not affect the design. 1689 $2.00. Fr.257 CH VG $145.00 1899. Choice Very Good, perhaps finer. Decently centered with good color and no major defects, just commercial wear. 1690 $2.00. Fr.258 F $280.00 1899. Fine. Very nicely centered with decent color. There are no edge splits or other problems to affect the value of this popular type note. 1691 $5.00. Fr.277 VG $200.00 1899. A strong Very Good with decent centering. There is a tiny edge split that does not affect the design and a small penciled figure on the reverse that probably can be removed. 1692 $5.00. Fr.280 F $375.00 1899. Fine. Centered toward the bottom left but not touching the design. Decent color with some crispness still remaining. A respectable example of this popular ''Indian Chief'' type note.
