Very Fine. All 13 stars are very full, the diagnostic raised die line in the left field is highly distinct. Centers are a trifle weakly struck and a toning streak crosses forehead to star 12.
1172 1798 B.13. Large Eagle G $400.00

Good. Somewhat uneven wear includes adjustment marks at 'ERTY' on the obverse, the lower reverse is measurably more worn than the upper sector.
1173 1798 B-21 (R-4) EF $3,000.00

Extremely Fine. The obverse has a wide date with a small die lump above it. The reverse shows the heraldic eagle holding ten arrows. Magnification reveals an extra ''stick'' amongst these arrows, the key diagnostic of this scarce variety. Although somewhat weakly struck, all major details are plain. The surfaces are attractive and the color gives a strong eye appeal. The central areas...  more

1799/8 B.1 (R-3). 13-Star Reverse. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. A forceful strike and moderate wear...
Very Fine to Extremely Fine. A forceful strike and moderate wear result in much pleasing detail. Examination reveals two old field scratches near Liberty's lips. This reverse is made fascinating by bold die lumps at the 'I' of AMERICA on this reverse.
1175 1799 B.21 (R-3) G $600.00

Good. This interesting Dollar was long in active circulation. A slightly convex planchet resulted in disproportionate wear at the centers but this lightly toned, silvery coin is otherwise free of special problems.
1176 1799 B.22 (R-5) VG $1,050.00

Fine from an overall standpoint, the reverse is easily that of a strong Very Fine. This variety is easily recognized by the heavy horizontal die crack that bisects the reverse. The obverse is significantly less bold, displaying the general detail of Very Good or better. This smooth lilac-gray example reveals only a couple of minor ancient rim marks at the lower left obverse.
1177 1802/1 B.1. Narrow Date F $600.00

Fine in terms of actual wear. Edges and fields show general roughness and the coin was crudely holed and plugged at 7:00.
