Although lightly cleaned in the past, this coin is very close to Mint State. 702 1857 CH VF $66.00 Fine to Very Fine. A lightly cleaned example that is still somewhat attractive; 1858 Large Letters. Medium brown toning. 4 pieces. 707 1858/7 CH EF $390.00 Choice Extremely Fine and possibly better, weakly struck with much silvery lustre around the reliefs. What appears to be the top of a '7' can be seen atop the second '8', a variety not recorded by Snow. Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated VERY CH BU $350.00 Here is a glowing red-brown example of the first Bronze date, the variety not showing Longacre's initial 'L'. Snow 2. 864/864 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $105.00 A pleasing example with crisp details and traces of mint red; 1864 L. Very Good. Chocolate brown surfaces show a couple of old light scratches, but the strike is crisp enough for the all important 'L' to be plainly visible. 2 pieces. 717 1864 AG to G $130.00 (3), 1865, 1873, 1874 (4), 1875 (4) About Good to Good. A struck-through area on the headdress. Medium brown toning; 1870 A strong Very Fine with some areas of vertigris and some tiny tic on the face; 1873 Good but corroded in areas. SOLD AS IS. Mostly a wholesome example of this scarce date; 1872 A strong Very Good with attractive brown toning. Scarce; 1874 Fine to Very Fine. A wholesome example with medium brown toning; 1879 Extremely Fine with a shallow pinscratch through the date area. Reddish-brown toning. 4 pieces. 722 1871 CH BU $100.00 Very Good; 1874 Fine; 1884 About Uncirculated. All three are medium brown and glossy; 1906 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. A lustous red-brown example. 4 pieces. 723 1875 Brilliant Uncirculated BU $105.00 Without wear, this unevenly toned coin has been cleaned to simulate faded mint color. 724 1875 CH EF $190.00 Extremely Fine; 1876 Choice Extremely Fine. Both obverse and reverse are cocoa brown. 727 1877 AG $240.00 About Good. Another. This specimen has seen heavy circulation. The bust of the Indian is completely outlined and the date is quite apparent. The right side lettering is obliterated. The reverse features are completely visible. 728 1877 AG $205.00 About Good. A third. All digits are clear though rims show advanced circulation. Deep brown, old toned-over scratches appear at the obverse left. 729 1877 AG $220.00 About Good. A fourth. Light brown contrasts with bright red to form a background for this porous example. 730 1882, 1891, 1896 Choice Brilliant Uncirculated CH BU $165.00 A pleasing trio of red-brown coins with strong detail. 3 pieces.
