 1863'S' Brilliant Uncirculated. Light toning over gently reflective surfaces. A decent strike adds to the allure of this very rare date of which only 17,000 pieces were produced and that is perceptibly rarer than this mintage would indicate. A few insignificant bagmarks can be found under magnification. This date comes up for sale only when a significant collection of Half Eagles comes under the auctioneer's gavel. The astute collector of this series should not take lightly this opportunity to acquire this infrequently seen date.
