This important Pattern bears an Indian head as adopted in 1858, the reverse presenting a laurel wreath composed of 5-leaf clusters somewhat similar to that adopted the next year. Although composed of 89% Copper and 11% Nickel, the coin's reflective surfaces are more akin to Bronze in their tawny beauty. NGC PF64.
