Colony of Rhode Island. November 6, 1775. Nine Pence. No.4918. Two signatures. Uniface. The appearance of Fine or so. Partial splits with cloth backing strips. Some minor nicks, but attractive from the face. Above average for the series and a hard used, low denomination note; 20 Shillings. No.2389. Three signatures. Fine or so. Minor splits and some petty voids and pinholes. Also, well above the average for a note from the issue. 2 pieces.

The first note, ex Clinton Collection (NASCA-Karp, October 28-31, 1985, lot 4351).
