1715 Redated 1737. 2 Shillings 6 Pence, 3 Shillings, and 4 Shillings 6 Pence. Partial denomination set of ''tall'' notes, printed uniface. Moderate to heavy plate rust. All Extremely Fine, the first with a back corner ''Boyd'' code in pencil; August 22, 1738. One Shilling, 2 Shillings 6 Pence, 3 Shillings, 5 Shillings, 7 Shillings 6 Pence, and 10 Shillings. No.5900. One signature: Metcalfe Bowler. The appearance of Fine or better, Central split with backing strip. Moderately toned. However, not frayed and a wholesome look. The majority of notes on this issue are severely impaired.
948 Colony of Rhode Island. June 16, 1775. One Pound 10 Shillings VG $700.00

No.74. Two signatures. Fine. Solid and bright with a short split at the right center. A small nick off the top edge. Quite superior for the issue; June 29, 1775. 3 Shillings. No.1195. One signature. Uniface. Appearance of Very Good. However, quarters split and glued together. Rounded corners and slightly rough. 2 pieces.
949 Colony of Rhode Island. November 6, 1775. Nine Pence F $450.00

No.4918. Two signatures. Uniface. The appearance of Fine or so. Partial splits with cloth backing strips. Some minor nicks, but attractive from the face. Above average for the series and a hard used, low denomination note; 20 Shillings. No.2389. Three signatures. Fine or so. Minor splits and some petty voids and pinholes. Also, well above the average for a note from the issue. 2 pieces.
950 Colony of Rhode Island. January 16, 1776. 20 Shillings VF $600.00

No.5049. Three signatures. For the note, close to Very Fine. Some edge roughness at the upper left, but still quite crisp; 30 Shillings. No.2810. Three signatures. Good or so. Solid, some light splits and nicks. However, back patched in places with scotch tape that has stained the face significantly. Useful filler. 2 pieces.

No.[faint]. Three signatures. Fine or better. Quite superior for the thin paper used on this issue. Solid with only some nicked areas here and there.
952 Rhode Island. September 5, 1776. One Eighth of a Dollar VF $700.00

No.2531. Two signatures, one very faint. Uniface, printed on coarse stock. Very Fine. A solid and problem-free note, A hard center crease, but not broken. Modest surface soiling with a few nearly invisible pinholes. High grade for this low denomination note.

Half a Dollar. No.825. Two signatures. Uniface. Printed on thick stock. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Central crease, but not broken. The top and bottom halves are still rather crisp. Light surface soiling and a Choice example of this low denomination. These lower denomination bills were hard used and are quite scarce in high grades. Quite handsome.

One Twenty-Fourth of a Dollar or Three Pence. No.4751. One signature: W.[elcome] Arnold. Uniface. Printed on thin laid paper, watermark visible at lower left. Choice Almost Uncirculated. A bold impression with deep embossing. Lightly handled with some slight trimming in on three of the four margins. The top margin is broad. A note that should prove tough to improve on.
