New Jersey. April 16, 1764. 6 Pounds. No.305 Three signatures. Blue texts, red vignette and blue border...New Jersey. April 16, 1764. 6 Pounds. No.305 Three signatures. Blue texts, red vignette and blue border frame. About Extremely Fine or better. A stunning note on this type and series. Virtually immaculate surfaces and the boldest red and blue color imaginable. The vertical crease is seen from the verso and there is only faint soiling. Most will be inclined to grade this note slightly higher and it should be evaluated as a premium quality example. The top condition census note for the type is likely the Ford X Sale lot 4765 note (May, 2005). On eye appeal, this note compares favorably. Only 917 were emitted and few could be finer. A high caliber note for the finest collection.

Ex Wilmington Collection (NASCA-Karp, October 8-10, 1984, lot 3065).
