 1902 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. Toned with bright yellow near the rim of the obverse, with a blush of faint gold over most of the surface, the reverse shows gold and iridescent hues that are somewhat mottled on that side. Struck in the all mirror finish that was adopted in 1902 by the Philadelphia Mint. The devices and fields no longer show the high degree of contrast seen on previous years. A few trivial hairlines from a higher grade on Liberty's cheek.
