1898'S' Brilliant Uncirculated and with semi-prooflike surfaces. Apparently an early strike from the dies, as they show more reflectivity in the fields. Toned with a delicate veil of gold with scattered blue accents near the rims. A decent strike for this date, with strong obverse stars and minimal softness on the eagle's claw and arrow feathers. Clean surfaces reveal minimal evidence of handling or hairlines despite the reflective nature of the fields. A very pleasing coin for the moderate grade.
