Reverse Hub Variety II (the top serifs of the 'L' and 'F' in HALF are well separated; the eagle's right talons are shorter and a bit more opened). Dusty tan-gray toning bathes this fully struck example. The reverse field reflectivity is somewhat muted, otherwise a Choice designation would be warranted. A total of 1,000 Proofs of this date were coined, all of which were struck using a Variety II reverse.
