Varying shades of olive-gray toning are accented by hints of emerald and rose iridescence. The reverse is entirely Choice, however there are too many obverse hairlines to justify such a grade for the entire coin. This elusive date enjoys the lowest total mintage for a Liberty Seated Philadelphia issue (600 Proofs and 16,000 business strikes) prior to 1879.
