 1909 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. A very pleasing coin that has delicate gold toning over the frosty devices, and a few minor carbon flecks. Mintages significantly increased, probably due to the cessation of the Indian Cent and release of the new Lincoln Cent in 1909. The total reported for 1909 is 4,763 Liberty Nickels in Proof.
