1876 Gem Brilliant Proof. A fine coin for the grade which has some contrast on the obverse, less so on the reverse. Two or three minor fly specks can be seen with a loupe, but these are offset by the attractive surfaces and nickel-gray color. Doubling from the strike is found on 'TRUST' and the date. The Centennial year issue saw greater demand, with 1,150 Proof coins issued for collectors.
