1799 B.9. Apostrophe 'S'. Choice About Uncirculated. The richest silver lustre drenches both sides...1799 B.9. Apostrophe 'S'. Choice About Uncirculated. The richest silver lustre drenches both sides of this magnificent strike, the obverse showing Bolender's right-angle die cracks in the right field. The reverse is characterized by the apostrophe-like die break after the last 'S' in STATES, a slanting die crack through 'MERICA'. Two old scratches are noted at the upper chest. This striking specimen must number among the finest known for this date and variety. ICG AU55.
