Current Money of Virginia. March 4, 1773 Act (September 1773 Issue) Large Format Note. Three Pounds....Current Money of Virginia. March 4, 1773 Act (September 1773 Issue) Large Format Note. Three Pounds. No.6/956. Two face signatures: Back countersignature of Robert Carter Nicholas. Printed on watermarked laid paper. Indent left. Arms over denomination in hashed cartouche at top. Choice Very Fine. Crisp, bold and vivid. The folds are seen from the back mostly. A very sharp, large format note with lovely eye appeal. These are not as well collected as they should be and this example is superior to the majority seen. A real beauty.
