 1898 Gem Brilliant Proof. This one has lovely blue and gold hues over both sides with a trace of haze. The lower obverse has a minor fingerprint, with the attendant carbon traces and delicate patterns now present in the right obverse field. A scant 1,795 were coined in Proof. This is certainly one of the nicer examples around today.
