 1803 S.255. Small Date, Large Fraction. Mint State-60, perhaps a bit better. Remarkable glossy brown surfaces with a hint of prior mint color. The strike is razor sharp except on the areas on which the die was lapped. Some light granularity does not really detract from this lovely coin. A wonderful example of this early 19th Century date that would be a welcome addition to any Large Cent collection.
