1877'CC' Brilliant Uncirculated. Deep yellow-gold lustre shows darkening on the highest points of the design. Though there is no trace of actual circulation, the fields on either side show a sprinkling of tiny contact tics from years in bag storage, a reeding mark can be seen below the boldly impressed 'CC' mintmark. Here is a very satisfying example of a very low-mintage Branch Mint date, one of only 42,565 struck at Carson City and the first to feature the reverse denomination spelled out TWENTY DOLLARS. PCGS MS60.
