1849 Open Wreath. Large Head, 'L' on truncation. Brilliant Uncirculated, with claims to Choice. Scintillating mint frost defines this rich canary gold specimen. A glass reveals a tiny scratch at 6:00 on the reverse. The obverse is Breen's ''Large Head'' defined by the coronet peak pointing midway between the stars.
