1807 JR-1. About Uncirculated. Another pleasing example of this only variety for the date. This issue is generally found weakly struck, but this coin is certainly an exception to the rule. The dentils are visible on over 3/4 of the coins rims, evidence of the better than average strike. The obverse is steel gray at the center with lovely electric blue and sea green hues ringing the peripheries. The reverse is mostly steel gray with some carbon gray found at the lower right rim. An appealing example of this early type.
